More terrorist probes - Is anyone paying attention to this stuff?

OMFG, this account of a flight from Minneapolis to Boston, while terrifying, is also full of honor, bravery and comedy. Two Asian men, acting extremely strangely on an airliner, are subdued by a pair of grandfathers. There’s no comedy in the seriousness of the situation, only in the words of the wife of one of [...]

Iran: Too Late to Turn Back Now…

In the immortal words of the Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (the man in the cheap Members Only jacket) says it’s too late for Iran to stop its nuclear development.
Well…Maybe too late for Iran to stop it, but not too late for Israel and the West to stop it. Minor distinction, [...]

Gore on The Daily Show

The former Veep was on the Daily Show, looking fit and ready to run for President. Looking forward to voting for him and balancing out that bad vote I cast against him in 2000.

Blogging of Historical Importance

Lorelle from Lorelle on WordPress asks: “Who would you like to see blog from history?”
Well, duh! Have to say Claire Booth Luce (after all, this blog IS named “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished”). Can you imagine Ms. Luce’s blog - would it be Dooce crossed with Instapundit?
Oh wait. Think of Wonkette. Maybe she’s back!

Air Force Getting Ground Combat Training

Does anyone else think this is a really, really bad sign?

Mr. Gore Needs to Go (Back) to Washington

Just watched An Inconvenient Truth tonight, and though there weren’t any concepts I didn’t know about, it was a compelling experience, and I’m glad I signed the Draft Gore petition. I’d really, really like the opportunity to make up for that bad vote I cast in 2000.
Hope I’ll get the chance.
