Here’s how the Sopranos ends
*****Spoiler - If you haven’t yet seen The Departed, or aren’t up to date with The Sopranos, stop reading - You’ve been warned***** 
Everyone’s got their theories. Dave thinks there’s a good chance that both Tony and Carmella die on Sunday night. The kids live, he says. Silvio dies, Paulie somehow makes it.
Well, here’s what I think and why:
Tony may not die. Why? He hasn’t been wearing white shoes, and white shoes mean death. Johnny Sac was wearing white shoes in the hospital (the camera made a point of showing them). The guy Sil garroted was wearing white shoes (again, the camera showed them) and Silvio himself was polishing his white shoes at the Bada Bing before he got shot up. Patsy Parisi was wearing brown shoes (we saw them in a quick camera shot) when he was bracing the car door open in the shootout, so he lives. I haven’t seen Tony in white shoes, but when he and Paulie are bagging groceries before bugging out of Casa Soprano, Paulie’s clearly wearing white shoes. Tony came rather close to killing Paulie on the boat when they were lamming in Miami, and I think he’s going to be glad he didn’t. I think Paulie’s going to save Tony’s life.
Carmella’s going to die. Why? Did you see the picture of her and Roe in France? No, not the one with the chef, the second one with them in costumes. She was Marie Antoinette. Who was killed. Why show a picture of them in costumes like that? Foreshadowing.
And, there’s no way Phil lives, and certainly not that little freak Butchie. He’s gotta sleep with the fishes. I will be sorely disappointed if that little gob makes it to Monday.
Then again, there is one nagging hint of foreshadowing that makes me think they all die. Every last one of them (not the civilians, but the wiseguys and "management"). Remember when Tony and Christopher were driving back from New York, just before Tony’s killing of Christopher started the bloodbath that’s become the end of possibly the best television show ever produced? What movie soundtrack did Christopher mention? The Departed. What happens at the end of that movie?
All the bad guys die.
