Fallujah Pics
Our American servicemen and women are the best. They do their duty to our nation and to their commanders with inspirational professionalism. That’s why it’s so hard when they’re led by the wrong people.
I am disgusted by the talk of court-martial for this young Marine in Iraq. We are in Iraq killing civilians, and they talk of court martial for a soldier who is in that bizarre situation? Does anybody doubt that the orders our soldiers are under are to shoot anything that moves? Again, like at Abu Gharib, the soldiers of the line will take the heat for decisions made above their heads that they are compelled to carry out. Guys like Rumsfeld and Bush never have to take the heat for their mistakes and incompetence when there are so many they can throw under the bus.
If you voted for Bush and want to see some of what the policies of your candidate and our President is creating in Fallujah (stuff that you won’t see in the American Press), go here and click on the Fallujah pictures.
Not for the faint of heart. You’ve been warned.
As I thought he would, Colin Powell has resigned as Secretary of State and won’t be part of Bush’s second term. Can’t wait to read his book. Wonder if he’ll tell all? The sad part is, after decades of honorable service in uniform, Powell’s credibility and internationally recognized goodwill was so quickly used up by a draft evading, failed oil man.
Sad. Very sad.
