Left Behind Analysis
The Left Behind series of books that takes readers from Rapture to Armageddon is possibly one of the worst reasons for killing trees since man started making paper. They’re complete tripe and garbage, with so many logical holes and horribly insulting bigotry, if I didn’t know better, I’d probably pass them off as well-written vanity press stuff.
How do I know this? I’ve read the first 3 of them, to see what makes a publishing phenom today. I had nothing against the books going in, as I’m a Christian and believe in the God of the Bible, but as I read each book, I became more and more disillusioned with the story’s horrible butchering of the faith.
Unfortunately, they’ve sold millions.
Slacktivist is analyzing the books, and pointing out some things I hadn’t even noticed in my reading.
